Alraune Chowdhury currently serves as Director, Portfolio Management and Delivery at Nike for the past 18 months, where she is responsible for establishing and implementing efficient governance processes, quality delivery through innovative approaches and measurement of business value of the strategic HR portfolio comprising multi-million dollar, multi-year global projects.
With over 20 years of experience in technology, strategic portfolio delivery and program implementation for large companies such as Nike, T-Mobile, Amazon.com and Wells Fargo, Alraune is passionate about the role of women in the workplace and the business case for a diverse workforce. Having worked in Europe, Asia and North America, Alraune is deeply aware of the many dimensions to diversity in a cultural context and how this is tied to business success.
Alraune has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Poona and an MBA from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and speaks 4 languages including German, Hindi and Bengali.
Outside of work, Alraune is an accomplished Pacific Northwest artist featured often in local media and exhibits her landscapes, still lifes and portrait studies at various shows around the Seattle area throughout the summer.
