Bahaa Wanly, Chief Operating Officer, has had a career focused on health care transformation through integrated care delivery. His career spans over 18 years of physician group, health system leadership experience. As COO of Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics, he is responsible for operations, developing its strategic direction and to ensure the effective implementation of all approved strategies, tactics, policies and procedures in all practices that comprise Salem Hospital, West Valley Hospital and the Medical Group.
Prior to joining Salem Health in 2015, Wanly spent 12 years with UW Medicine Health System where he served as a Medical Group Administrator and helped develop an integrated care delivery network. He received his Master’s Degree in Health Administration from University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, and completed his Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelors of Science Degree at Oregon State University, Oregon. Wanly is a University of Washing MHA Board Member, and received the state of Washington Community Leader award in 2013. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
