Heather began her career at Costco in 1984 as a caller in the Lynnwood, Washington location. In 1986, she joined the Membership/Marketing Department at the Kirkland Warehouse. During that time, Heather was also finishing her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington with an emphasis in Communications and Political Science. In 1990, she accepted her first job in buying, transferring to the Corporate Office where she became an ICS in Media. Heather remained in that position until 1994, when she was promoted to an Assistant Buyer over Computer Software. Heather progressed to Buyer over Music and Video and eventually went on to become a Director over Media and then Electronic Departments. Heather completed Seattle University Executive Leadership Certificate Program in 2001. In 2004, she was promoted at Costco Wholesale to her current position as Assistant GMM over Fresh Foods – Produce. Heather oversees purchases for fresh fruits and vegetables for all U.S. Costco locations. She also manages the Global Group for Produce, which includes all International divisions of the company.
Heather was honored in 2009 by the Produce Industry, for their annual Women in Produce Award
Heather is married to Greg, her husband of twenty four years. They have two daughters, Gabrielle and Giselle: A sophomore and freshman at Santa Clara University.
