Kim leads people strategy at TrueBlue Inc., a $2.5B workforce solutions company, operating in more than 70 countries, for staff and more than 400,000 temporary associates as EVP, CHRO.
As a member of the company’s executive team she directs all aspects of the people strategy including diversity & inclusion, rewards & benefits, talent acquisition, and development & succession planning. During her tenure TBI has doubled in size, revenue & profitability; landed three times on the Forbes list of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies; and was recognized by the American Cancer Society for innovative wellness practices. Kim lead the development and execution of the company’s comprehensive D&I strategy, with a special focus on expanding the possibilities for women in leadership roles.
Prior to TrueBlue, Kim led the creation of best practices across all areas of HR for industry leaders including Microsoft, T-Mobile and Washington Mutual.
As VP, Talent & Rewards Operations at T-Mobile she lead the HR Shared Services team supporting more than 43,000 employees across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Prior to T-Mobile Kim spent eight years with Washington Mutual in several senior executive roles where she led numerous HR functions. She was instrumental in creating and executing the people strategy resulting in growth from 16,000 to nearly 50,000 employees, through the acquisition by JPMC. She began her NW career at Microsoft and provided leadership during a time of explosive growth and industry evolution within a company with a small handful of DOS based products, determined to put a computer on every desk and earning less than $1B in revenue, into a highly innovative and complex global organization at the forefront of the internet revolution with revenue in excess of $23B. She began her career in the healthcare industry.
