Rebekah Bastian is Vice President of Community & Culture at Zillow Group, leading efforts around Equity & Belonging, Social Impact Products and Cultural Engagement. Rebekah was one of Zillow’s first employees, coming over from Microsoft in 2005, and spent her first 12 years leading product development across many areas of the company.
Rebekah serves on the Board of Directors of Bellwether Housing and the Advisory Board for the University of Washington School of Mechanical Engineering. She is also an advisor to technology startups, a respected thought leader and community partner. She writes articles in multiple publications and is a frequent speaker at conferences and community events. She has been recognized in the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40, the Inman 33 People Changing the Real Estate Industry and the Female Founders Alliance Champion Awards.
Rebekah earned her Master of Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. She is also a mentor, a mother to two boys and an aerial acrobat.

Devan Vaughn is a Sr. HR Program Manager, leading Diversity and Inclusion at Redfin. Redfin is the modern way to buy and sell a home with the mission to redefine real estate in the consumer’s favor.
At Redfin, Devan has successfully launched a cross-team mentorship program for Business and Tech functions, pilotted new ways to source and recruit diverse talent and has embedded diverse celebrations into Redfin’s calendar.
Prior to Redfin, Devan was an HR Program Manager at Microsoft where she helped design, refine and build-out Microsoft’s innovative autism hiring program that has drawn international attention and recognition. It has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning and in Fast Company. She also successfully expanded Microsoft’s “early in career” diversity pipeline and led their recruiting strategies at large-scale diversity conferences.
Devan is a regularly-scheduled speaker on diversity panels, in university business law classes, at business organizations, and has been a consultant for Fortune 500 companies interested in expanding their diversity hiring.
She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
Vice President of Security, Risk & Compliance for Smartsheet Inc. Ignacio leads Smartsheet’s efforts establishing appropriate security and risk management framework(s) and facilitating the understanding of risks being managed as part of the risk/reward equation to grow shareholder value. Ignacio has more than 25 years of experience in consulting advising fortune 100 clients before moving into industry. Prior to Smartsheet, Ignacio served as Chief Risk Officer of LifeLock, Inc., was a Founding Director of the consulting firm Protiviti, Inc., the Managing Director of the Seattle office of Protiviti, Inc., and a partner at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Ignacio holds a B.A. in Business Administration from New Mexico State University and is fluent in the Spanish language. He is a driven competitor who holds a black belt in the martial art of Kung Fu. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to foreign countries, exploring the great outdoors, competitive fly fishing or rebuilding classic cars.
Nicole honed her leadership instincts over the past 23 years continually connecting, coaching, and creating opportunities to grow inclusive, diverse teams at Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, AT&T, Motorola, and Ericsson.
She has been the driving force behind many tech industry firsts. Highlights include launching Motorola’s first world phone, taking the first wireless FedEx package tracking application to market, managing the first wireless Fidelity Investments 401K application, and the first Windows Mobile and BlackBerry Devices at AT&T Wireless.
Throughout her career, Nicole’s objectives have always run much deeper. She is passionate about increasing diversity in the industry with an emphasis on women and marginalized communities. She’s also a lifelong advocate within organizations, creating paths forward for companies to provide inclusive environments. Her ultimate goal is to establish equity for those who face barriers and roadblocks.
Nicole has been featured on King 5 TV, NPR, in the LA Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle. Her recent roster of speaking engagements include Women in Tech Regatta 2018, New Tech NW – Women in Tech Leadership, Ascend Leadership Conference – Less Talk More Action panel, and Black Women in Tech 2018.
Nicole lives in Kirkland WA, with her husband and four boys, 12 and 6-year-old triplets.
Shelly Washington-Woodruff joined T-Mobile (TMO) in 2014 and is currently a Sr. Director of Business Intelligence (BI) Product Delivery within the Production & Technology organization. Shelly leads teams accountable to deliver BI solutions that support the T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile brands.
In her role, Shelly is a true believer that data is the lifeblood that powers every area of the company and provides the insights that allow T-Mobile to provide the best products and services for our customers.
A northwest native, a wife and mother of 2, when Shelly isn’t driving transformation within T-Mobile, you will find her either coaching or playing soccer or spending time with her dogs on a trail – taking in the beauty of it all.
Valecia Maclin recently joined Microsoft in July 2018 as General Manager of the Customer Security and Trust Engineering Organization where she is responsible for ensuring global trust in Microsoft products through providing engineering solutions to its Digital Crimes Unit, Law Enforcement and National Security Programs, Government Security Program, and corporate wide security development lifecycle governance. Prior to Microsoft, Valecia spent 26 years working in the federal government sector where she led large mission critical programs in Cybersecurity and national security in support of multiple intelligence agencies, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and several federal civilian agencies. Valecia is a transformative leader who is passionate about building the next generation of technology leaders and personally invests her time in STEM initiatives as well as Diversity and Inclusion in Technology. Valecia graduated from Duke University with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science and also earned a Masters in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. She additionally holds PMP, CISSP, ISSMP, GSLC, ITIL, Six Sigma, and Agile SCRUM Master certifications.
